Q. DO YOU OFFER CUSTOMIZED WEDDING PACKAGES?
Yes, our packages can be tailored for both traditional & contemporary couples and can include simple packages starting at $1,895 that include unlimited high resolution wedding day photos all the way to our 2 day $8,000 full service, Italian leather album package.
Q. HOW WILL YOU KNOW WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN OUR WEDDING PHOTOS?
Well we don’t but we ask a lot of questions and offer plenty of guidance along the way.
Q. CAN WE MEET YOU IN PERSON BEFORE WE CONSIDER BOOKING YOU?
Of course, in fact a face-to-face meeting is greatly encouraged, after all on your wedding day we will spend pretty much an entire day with you and your family, so it's important for us to meet before.
Q. WHAT TYPE OF CAMERA EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
We use state-of-the-art professional Canon equipment. They are top of the range full frame cameras matched with a full complement of top of the line 'L Series" lenses. This equipment produces stunning color and clarity and offers a whole host of really cool technologies that we fully understand and exploit in order to achieve the best images in all kinds of lighting situations, optimal or otherwise. Our collection of lenses include Canon’s 17-40mm for wide architectural shots, 24-70mm for general photography and my personal favorite, the 70-200mm for portraits, candid’s and even group shots. We also have the much desired 85mm 1.2 lens and specialist lenses such the Sigma 12-24mm for super wide shots and not to bore you but we have a few more top quality lenses in our stables. We have plenty of Speedlite flashes and also studio strobes so were all set.
Q. DO YOU HAVE BACKUP EQUIPMENT?
Absolutely! We have everything in triplicate. Our backup equipment is right there with us at all times. A $3,500 camera is no good to anyone in the trunk of a car while the bride is walking down the isle. There are no re-do’s during a wedding ceremony.
Q. ARE WE ALLOWED TO PRINT OUR WEDDING PHOTOS?
We always grant reproduction rights to your pictures; we don’t believe in holding your images hostage. You are not obligated to purchase prints through our Studio, you may choose any vendor you wish. Our contract can be brought to any photo lab as verification that you have permission to print the photos. Most reputable labs will not print your images unless you show proof of a release. We do however retain copyrights as we do not permit our clients to sell wedding images to stock photography establishments.
Q. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET PHOTOS?
We deliver the disk(s) with your wedding photographs as soon as they are edited. Depending on the time of year and the volume of our workflow a typical turn-around period is 3-4 weeks after your wedding day. Album design and production will take anywhere between 6-8 weeks.
Q. WHAT KIND OF MEDIUM IS USED TO DELIVER THE IMAGES?
You will be able to download your high res photos from your own password protected gallery and we also offer USB Thumb Drives or Data DVD’s that are readable on both PC's and Mac.
Q. WHAT FORMAT ARE DIGITAL FILES DELIVERED AND CAN THEY BE SHARED ON SOCIAL MEDIA SITES?
Files are delivered in high resolution formats suitable for professional lab printing (300dpi JPEG's). You will be able to convert them to lower resolutions thereby enabling you to post the images on your favorite social media websites.
Q. WILL WE RECEIVE EVERY SINGLE PICTURE TAKEN AT OUR WEDDING OR ENGAGEMENT SESSION?
No, photos are culled and carefully edited. Marginal images, near duplicates or photos that were poorly exposed due to flash misfire are discarded. Images that might be considered unflattering or embarrassing are also deleted. We want you to look your best.
Q. DO YOU “AIRBRUSH” OUR PHOTOGRAPHS?
Photos that we provide from your wedding or engagement will have gone through an editing process which optimizes brightness, color, contrast and sharpening etc. We also offer an advanced a-la-carte editing service which includes sky replacements, object removal, background replacement etc. Advanced editing is a special service and a custom quote can be provided based upon the work desired.
Q. DO YOU PROVIDE ALL OF OUR WEDDING PHOTOS IN COLOR, BLACK AND WHITE AS WELL AS SEPIA?
No, we do not replicate every single photo in each of the three styles as you will end up with thousands of files. We do however use our expertise and creative judgment to determine whether a photo would look best in black & white, color or sepia. If you prefer to have your images edited in a particular style, let us know before any processing begins and we will evaluate and accommodate your request.
