Snow In October! Nicole and David
Nicole and David are an example of a couple that made my work straightforward and enjoyable. In fact their entire family were very easy going. Here’s why. This wedding took place on October 29th 2011, the day of the freak blizzard snow storm on the East Coast. I left the studio four hours early for obvious reasons and arrived at the hotel in good time even though the roads were treacherous and trees were falling and taking power lines down with them. Upon arrival the hotel lost power several times before the Backup Generator finally engaged. In the end most of the guests arrived along with the officiate to the joy of Dave and Nicole, and they became one. .

Movie Themed Wedding Elizabeth and Scott
Elizabeth and Scott decided to go with a movie themed wedding event. The guys were dressed as Chicago styled gangsters, (although their amiable personalities did not reflect the mobster or goon image that might pop into ones imagination). The girls were dressed as 1950's "Baby Dolls". Dolls, Dames, Babes or whatever you choose to call them, these bridesmaids were sophisticated and charming, particularly Elizabeth..

Snow In October! Nicole and David
Patricia and Frank are a down to earth couple. Patricia as lovely as she is, was not shy about making herself beautiful for her new husband. Aside from the traditional setup shots, most of the photography after the ceremony was spontaneous as we walked through a scenic lake view park. One of the little flower girls was nothing less than a petal herself; too cute to be true. She complemented Patricia's youthful femininity to a fault. .

Historic Smithville Village. Jaclyn and Nicholas
Historic Smithville Village Greene at the Smithville Inn was the setting for this wedding. Jaclyn and Nicholas we married on the same day as the Smithville Oktoberfest. The whole village thronged with locals and travelers alike. Interestingly Jaclyn decided to walk through the village on the way to meet her future husband at the Inn, which turned out to be a unique thrill as hundreds of people cheered and lavished her with words of encouragement and good wishes..

Longest Married Couple In The U.S. (2013) John and Ann Betar
Associated Press. FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- John and Ann Betar of Connecticut have been married so long they're getting national recognition. The Fairfield spouses, who tied the knot more than 80 years ago, have been named the 2013 "longest married couple" in the United States by Worldwide Marriage Encounter, a group in San Bernardino, Calif., dedicated to improving Christian marriages. The Betars will be presented with the honor and gifts at their granddaughter's home in Fairfield on Saturday. Worldwide Marriage Encounter says the longest married couple is based on nominations, so there may be others who have been married longer. John is 101 years old and Ann is 97. The two grew up as neighbors in Bridgeport and got married on Nov. 25, 1932. They have five children, 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. ..
